Puppet Repairs Terms of Service

If you have bought one of my puppets, I offer repairs in certain circumstances for just the price of shipping. If the puppet was being used responsibly, and a component fails, falls off or breaks, it qualifies for repairs. Below, I will list some examples that do or do not fit the requirements.

Qualifying Examples:⏺ While using the puppet within guidelines, a piece (eyes, nose, tongue, feathers, teeth, arms, etc.) falls off and isn't fully broken or is replaceable.⏺ A seam pops on the arms or body.⏺ An arm rod handle slips off.⏺ Paint chips off of the eyes without friction.⏺Other component failures that are not the fault of a human, animal, plant or fungus.

Non-Qualifying Examples:⏺ A child (or an adult) pulls off, rips, or breaks a piece through force or improper handling.⏺ Stains.⏺ Pet damage.⏺ Environmental damage via heat, rain, etc.⏺ Crushing or chipping during travel.

If you need to request repairs, please get in touch through the contact form, and explain the damage as well as what happened when the damage was caused. If qualifying, we can either arrange shipping or local pickup in rare cases.

About Odds and endsfellows

In 2015, a little freak who would eventually call themself Eucharis started on her first puppet project. Inspired by [insert long-forgotten inspiration here], they longed to create the character they envisioned in their head, finding larger costume projects too daunting. She promptly dropped that project when the hyperfixation wore off and never finished it. He's in a landfill somewhere now.In 2023, the same little freak went to Anthrocon and had their love for little fellows that fit on your hand reignited by the Furry puppetry community. Now armed with crafting experience gained over the last eight years, she has a new appreciation for the art form and is passionate about expanding the small box that the public confines it to.

Odds and Endsfellows, as a concept, is meant to advocate for puppetry in more mature media. My puppets may smoke, say naughty words, or say things that are off-color, but that is not meant to be "the joke". I want puppets to be more relatable to people who may need it, but fall victim to the belief that they are only for children. If my work is needed by children, I will tone it down to suit them accordingly (although I must say I'm very awkward with kids).Puppetry is for everyone, and everyone is for puppetry- Shit. Can be a puppeteer.

Are you interested in making puppets? Ask me about mentorship! I would love to provide advice to help others make their own puppets.

Fellows Care Guide

The following is a list of tips for maintaining the health and beauty of your new Fellow. If you steer away from these guidelines, you risk causing damage.
Don't hurt my feelings.

⏺ Your Fellow does not need any food or drink. Otherwise, it might develop a pretentious attitude towards wine and cheese. Please keep things that are sticky, wet or messy away from it.

⏺ If, despite your best efforts, your fellow manages to get messy, please spot-clean with soap and water. Their eyes can be removed by unscrewing them from the inside if need be.

⏺ When cleaning, please avoid heavy scrubbing on marker or paint markings. It can cause them to fade over time.

⏺ Heavy activity makes a stinky little guy. When you are finished puppeteering your Fellow, please let it rest with its butt wide open. This allows your nasty human germs a way to escape, and prevents it from smelling like sweat.
Believe it or not, I love cheap toilet plungers (UNUSED!) for puppet stands.

⏺ Regular maintenance can include spraying the inside of your Fellow with a 2:1 ratio mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. It burns a little, but it's good for killing germs. Allow it to dry over a fan or somewhere with good air circulation.

⏺ Sadly, all Fellows eventually must stink. If your puppet starts to smell musty from use, unscrew the eyes and gently handwash in the sink or bathtub. Gently squeeze and release the body on repeat; no need to scrub. Avoid letting its mouth go under the water so that it doesn't get scared.

⏺ After washing your Fellow, allow to it dry as stated in the tips above. Give it a nice small-toothed comb brush so that any fur will dry flat. If it gets a cowlick, it will be embarrassed.

⏺ Larger, foam-bodied puppets have different care needs depending on the puppet. Please get in touch via the contact form if you have any questions.

⏺ Please do not allow them to be assaulted by children. They love children, but imagine things from their angle. Imagine what your toddler would do to you if you were only a foot tall and had no one to save you. That's terrifying, and also not covered by the Repair T.O.S.
